Designed for a family relocating to Miami, this Venetian Island home included a sunken dining space that was originally a narrow, underutilized and fragmented by heavy vertical column partitions. By completely clearing out those dividing elements, we transformed the footprint into a fluid, welcoming environment that integrates easily with the main living room. To emphasize balance in the long layout, the space is beautifully mirrored by two custom pebble-grain shagreen sideboards topped with sleek glass surfaces that bounce the lush exterior landscaping deep into the room. A striking amber crystal linear pendant floats above the dark wood table, while custom-tailored white dining chairs on casters bring effortless movement and conversational comfort to every meal.
