Case Study: Structural Re-Engineering & Transitional Curation
For this historic Miami bungalow, our team executed a complete, down-to-the-studs structural transformation. The original space was severely compromised—dark, isolated by restrictive partition walls, and weighed down by dated finishes. The client’s vision was a sweeping, open-concept footprint connecting the culinary zone to the dining space, which required completely removing a low-bearing arched partition wall.
Navigating an older structure always presents high-stakes challenges; upon opening the walls, our team discovered a severely cracked ceiling beam that actively threatened the home's safety. Bringing in our trusted structural engineer, we designed a complex intervention—seamlessly recessing a heavy steel ceiling beam into the roof structure to safely eradicate the dividing walls and maximize the home's visual volume.
With the open footprint secured, we tailored the space to honor a Key West inspired, transitional aesthetic. We specified custom white shaker cabinetry running fully to the ceiling to maximize vertical height, integrating specialized glass-top display tiers and a built-in drawer microwave system. To resolve the adjacent dining space, we introduced an eclectic, cafe-inspired dining salon, curating a striking, full-height art gallery wall that injects deep texture and designer character into the environment.

Warm Modern Kitchen Renovation with Refined Architectural Presence
Completed at the prestigious Bayso Sarasota high-rise tower, this luxury condominium kitchen design brings warmth, restraint, and deep material nuance to a sleek, new-construction setting. To honor the client's desire for a sophisticated, coastal-preppy femininity with vibrant structural accents, we juxtaposed rich, wire-brushed oak laminates with crisp, high-gloss white lacquer upper cabinetry. The entire culinary zone is beautifully textured by a dimensional, geometric mosaic tile backsplash that captures the shifting Florida light.
Balancing clean lines with highly individualized character, the space features a commanding waterfall island with integrated counter seating, premium built-in stainless steel appliances, and curated luxury countertop styling—including statement crystal glass canisters. The finished project demonstrates how a modern high-rise blueprint can be infused with personality and visual equilibrium, seamlessly connecting high-performance functionality with tailored, principal-led interior design.
