Created for a returning client, this Miami Beach condominium was reworked as a more distinctive short-term rental designed to strengthen guest appeal, elevate the overall experience, and make better use of a compact oceanfront footprint. At the Roney Palace, the scope combined focused home remodeling with bespoke interior design to transform a dated unit into a brighter, more memorable residence, layering an art-driven suite, a brushed-gold kitchen, a refined living area, and a calmer spa-inspired bath into one cohesive design story. The result is a Miami Beach rental property with stronger visual identity, better day-to-day function, and a more polished presence in a competitive short-term-stay market.
Boutique-Style Suite with Artistic Character
A hand-painted mural sets the tone for the suite, giving the space a stronger visual identity while softening the open layout with a more immersive sense of atmosphere. Sculptural lighting, layered artwork, and a restrained palette balance personality with calm, allowing the sleeping area, sitting area, and balcony connection to read as one cohesive composition. The result is a more memorable Miami Beach retreat — polished, expressive, and designed to elevate the guest experience within a compact footprint.
Boutique Sitting Area with Fireplace Wall and Gilded Mirror
A sculptural Cararra porcelain fireplace, oversized gilt mirror, and soft blush seating introduce a more layered note within the residence, giving this corner a boutique quality that feels both intimate and visually distinct. Reflective surfaces, warmer metallic accents, and curated furnishings were used to make the compact footprint feel more expansive while reinforcing the apartment’s art-driven identity. The result is a polished vignette that adds personality, glamour, and a stronger sense of finish to the overall design.
A Statement Kitchen in Brushed Gold
Brushed gold cabinetry gives the kitchen a distinct architectural presence while keeping the composition clean, modern, and tightly resolved. Blond oak cabinetry, brushed-gold fixtures, clean-lined storage, and softer lighting create a more refined atmosphere, while the updated vanity and glass-enclosed shower improve both function and comfort within a compact footprint. The result is a bath that feels brighter, more polished, and more fully aligned with the overall design direction of the residence.

Set above the shoreline, the balcony was designed as an open-air extension of the residence — a private setting for morning coffee, late-day light, and uninterrupted views across Miami Beach. Bistro seating, restrained greenery, and a lighter palette keep the space relaxed and refined, allowing the oceanfront outlook to remain the focal point while giving the apartment a stronger sense of ease, livability, and destination appeal.
