On May 24, 2016, Multifamilybiz.com reported that Oko, the Miami-based luxury development company, has revealed details about the new Missoni Baia building soon to be a landmark in the upcoming area of Edgewater near downtown Miami.

This stunning 57-story luxury tower will rise 200 feet above Biscayne Bay frontage, outlining the Miami shoreline and accenting its skyline. Missoni Baia will be the first branded residence from Missoni, the iconic luxury fashion house founded in 1953. In keeping with the artisanal style and craftsmanship, this 649 foot tower, located at 777 NE 26th Terrace consists of 146 expansive residences each with waterfront views, ranging from 2-4 bedrooms and 2500-3700 square feet.

Missoni has partnered with award-winning architect, Hani Rashid, designer of the Hermitage Modern Contemporary Museum in Moscow to represent the unparalleled quality of engineering, design, and striking style that Missoni is known for. The inspiration taken from the design and architecture is by the beautiful and pristine works of minimalist American sculptors, Sol Lewitt and Donald Judd.

State-of-the-art amenities at Missoni Baia are influenced by wellness paired with a sophisticated interior designer by Paris Forino under the creative direction of Angela and Rossita Missoni. The interior design incorporates their signature colorful design palette and home furniture collection uniquely engineered for the public areas. The amenities include a flow through deck for all-day sunbathing, 5 Olympic-sized pools, elevated tennis courts and an infinity pool with an expansive spa and fitness center facing the bay.

This unmatched design collaboration will be a game changer for the Miami luxury condominium market and Exclusively to Design is set to design the interior of the residential homes. We would use a unique layering of neutral foundation colors with spicy bright colors that compliment the Missoni palette. Exclusively to Design would scour the designer and vintage markets for a curated furniture and decor collection that not only accents their personal style and atmosphere, but also, our creative solution for their condominium would pay respect to the artisanal vibe of their home's exterior.
